Château Angélus, located in the Saint-Émilion appellation of Bordeaux, has been producing fine wines since the 18th century. It derives its name from the practice of local winemakers pausing their work to recite the Angelus prayer when hearing the church bells ring.


Heritage: Owned by the Boüard de Laforest family for over eight generations, the estate is a symbol of tradition combined with modern innovation.

Classification: In 1996, it was elevated to Premier Grand Cru Classé B, solidifying its reputation for producing world-class wines. In 2012, it achieved the highest classification, Premier Grand Cru Classé A, joining the elite ranks of Bordeaux.
