Producer & Wine Maker

The 2008 Rare Brut Millésime was created under the guidance of Régis Camus, Piper-Heidsieck’s long-time Chef de Cave. Camus has been awarded the title of Sparkling Winemaker of the Year multiple times, solidifying his reputation as one of Champagne’s greatest winemakers.

The grapes for Rare 2008 are sourced from a selection of Grand Cru vineyards in Champagne, primarily from the Montagne de Reims and Côte des Blancs regions. The vineyards’ chalky soils provide minerality and freshness, which are hallmarks of the Rare cuvée.
